This is the first installation of approximately 11 running feet of the total 24'mural. It is being installed at the Historic Paramount Theatre in Austin, MN above the ticket & concessions area. The artwork design was drawn by community children asked to draw their favorite things about their town (Austin). I collated 120 drawings into the design and am staying as true to the drawings as possible, creating their ideas in Italian Smalti. It is a fun, challenging project filled with joy and community involvement. Plans are to have the mural complete by Feb. 2026.
